The McMullin Recharge Group was formed to address the long-term water supply imbalance in the Raisin City area caused by the lack of surface water available for irrigation. A geological study is currently underway to locate the best sites for recharge basins in the 148,000-acre project area. Members include James Irrigation District, Mid-Valley Water District, Raisin City Water District, Tranquillity Irrigation District, Terranova Ranch, Inc. and KRCD.
