Historically, KRCD has been at the forefront of environmental stewardship for the valley – preserving the natural beauty, habitat and quality of life for future generations to enjoy. KRCD has further enhanced its environmental outreach with a variety of projects, activities and studies.

A model partnership has been forged between KRCD, the Kings River Water Association and the California Department of Fish and Game to create the much-heralded Kings River Fisheries Management Program.
